Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Whatever you do, avoid shouting for “Danny Boy” during breaks at The Irish Tenors’ concert Wednesday. These tenors – John McDermott, Anthony Kearns and Ronan Tynan, along with classical-easy-listening flute superstar James Galway and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – will reproduce the greatest hits of “Riverdance” along with other touchstones of Celtic music history. The elaborate, big-sounding Irish music show begins at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St. Tickets: $35-$75. 312-559-1212 (Ticketmaster).
