Two Kane County sheriff’s deputies were honored recently for their work in arresting drunken drivers in 1998.
Patty Schelsky, president-elect of the Kane County chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, presented plaques to Deputies Thomas Blincoe and Phillip Schuring at a Kane County Board meeting.
Schuring was credited with 16 DUI arrests in 1998, and Blincoe had 13.
