Women of the house, hand your hubbie a vacuum-for his ego. The Soap and Detergent Association, a trade group that loves to sweep up the dirt on America’s cleaning habits, has now determined from its most recent survey that women claim to do a whopping 79 percent of the cleaning in their household, while men admit to shouldering only 35 percent of the burden. But nearly one-fourth of those same guys said if there’s one thing they do better than their wives, it’s vacuuming.
