The Chicago Latino Film Festival, at Water Tower and Facets Multimedia from April 9-21, is not just for adults. Sponsors say that “Gringuito” from Chile, “La Paloma de Marsella” from Mexico and “Reunion de Demonios” from Brazil are appropriate for high school students, and that “Angelito Mo” from Puerto Rico and “El Secreto de los Andes” from Argentina are suitable for students from 3rd grade on up.
Weekday matinees are free to school classes beginning April 13. Teachers should call the Chicago Latino Cinema at 312-431-1330. Families can view the films on weekends beginning April 16. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 students. See Wednesday’s Tribune for a complete list of times and locations.
