Glenbard North High School will get two more mobile classrooms next year to replace space displaced during expansion of the Carol Stream campus.
The District 87 board on Monday approved renting the trailers, bringing to five the number of mobile units on the east side of the district’s largest campus. Classes and offices have not yet been assigned to the double-wide trailers.
Mobile classrooms have been a fixture on campus since 1991 to accommodate a growing enrollment. The mobile units are expected to be removed after construction of 27 classrooms is completed by the fall of 2000.
