Plans for an automobile dealership, considered the first step in renovating a Glendale Heights shopping center, were approved Tuesday by the community’s Plan Commission.
A 40,000-square-foot Kia dealership is proposed for the far west end of the Glendale Heights Shopping Center near Glen Ellyn Road and North Avenue. The shopping center, except for a bowling alley at the northeastern corner of Glen Ellyn and North, is a focal point of a tax increment financing district.
