Maine South 50, Glenbrook North 36: Maine South (18-7, 8-2) clinched its first Central Suburban North title since 1988 behind Brendan Smaha’s 12 points, Brian Price’s 11 and Todd Gierke’s 10. Nick Robison led Glenbrook North (13-12, 4-6) with 15 points and eight rebounds.
St. Viator 53, St. Patrick 48 (OT): Ken Peters’ 15 points helped St. Viator (11-15, 9-4) pull out the East Suburban Catholic victory. Jack Maniscalco and Andy Bumgardner each scored 13 for St. Patrick (14-11, 8-5).
Spirit of the Northwest Suburban tournament: In the championship game, Johnsburg knocked off Grant 81-71 with Curt Schillor’s 28 points. Wayne Bosworth scored 18 and Brandon Borror 17 for Grant (15-10).
