NO HOOPS? BE BLUE!

No Chicago Bulls (they’re locked out). No Chicago Condors (their league, the ABL, is over and out). But Chicago-area hoops fans aren’t shut out of great basketball — the DePaul University Blue Demons offer some of the best college hoops around. Led by freshman guard Quentin Richardson (above), who leads the team in scoring and rebounding, the Blue Demons are heating up Conference USA. Upcoming opponents include Louisville on Jan. 17 and top-rated Cincinnati on Feb. 6, both at the Rosemont Horizon. DePaul’s biggest home game of the season will be against NCAA hot shot Duke Feb. 24 at the United Center. For ticket info, call Ticketmaster at 312-559-1212; for team info, call 773-325-SLAM.
