Hinsdale South 55, Glenbard South 23: Kristine Sawica had 12 points and five assists as No. 20 Hinsdale South (1-0) cruised. Meghan Barkman scored 11 for Glenbard South.
Conant 49, Lake Park 40: Conant (1-0) used 28 points by Jennifer Pettyjohn to defeat Lake Park (0-1). Lake Park outscored Conant 20-9 in the third quarter but only managed six points in the fourth quarter. Carlin Chesick had 16 points in defeat.
Crystal Lake Central 36, McHenry 34: Natalie Faris scored 11 points to lead Crystal Lake Central (1-0, 1-0) in the Fox Valley.
Dundee-Crown 38, Crystal Lake South 35: Quinn Klebansky’s 11 points helped Dundee-Crown (1-0, 1-0) pull out the Fox Valley victory over Crystal Lake South (0-1, 0-1).
Evanston 49, Highland Park 35: Jehan Adamji and Tauara Golston had 11 points apiece to propel Evanston (1-0). Highland Park was led by Liz Oakes with 11 points, nine blocks and seven rebounds.
Hersey 65, Regina 54: Hersey (1-0) won with Becky Ford’s 15 points and seven steals.
Joliet 69, Mother McAuley 52: Tiffany Cornelius’ 20 points helped Joliet (1-0) knock off McAuley (0-1).
