BLUE COLLAR BLUES
By Rosalyn McMillan, New Star Publishing, approximately 3 hours, abridged, $18. Read by Denise Nicholas.
The blue-collar and white-collar worlds collide in this sexy, snappy novel by the sister of best-selling author Terry McMillan. Fictional Champion Motors in Detroit is where Thyme Tyler, a successful plant manager, works. Her husband works there, too, along with her best–and blue-collar–friend. Add to the mix a discrimination suit, a murder, jealousies and betrayals, and you end up with a combustible and entertaining tale.
