Marquardt School District 15 pupils will continue to get a boost when they take standardized tests.
The Board of Education has decided to continue giving all youngsters a high-energy snack on the days they take standardized tests at a cost of $10,000.
“Providing the break is a positive way of reinforcing to kids that this test is important. We think it makes a difference,” said Diane Balke, curriculum director.
Pupils were given granola bars, apple slices, and juice or milk, Balke said.
