A 39-year-old Belleville man who was arrested after he went to Chicago to meet what he thought was a young girl he had talked to on the Internet, pleaded not guilty Monday to child sex charges.

Willie Tillmon is being held on $250,000 bond in DuPage County Jail.

He was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and one count of attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse in a computer sting operation conducted by the Naperville Police Department. Tillmon is alleged to have engaged in sexual conversations on the Internet with a Naperville police detective who was posing as a 14-year-old girl, authorities said.

When he arranged to meet the non-existent girl on July 2, he was instead met by police who arrested him.

Tillmon entered his plea before DuPage County Circuit Judge Ronald Mehling and is due in court again on Aug. 17.
