Big kids only: The Hidden Creek Aquapark in Highland Park took a bold step for adults in an area typically dominated by childhood tyranny. For 2 1/2 hours on July 24, after normal hours, no children were allowed in the park, only adults 18 and older. Dave Harris, superintendent of special facilities for the park district, decided to give the adults-only night a try based on patron feedback. Barring any child-led rebellions, look for more no-kid nights.
