A 49-year-old Palos Hills man will be arraigned Tuesday in the death of a Frankfort woman who was his girlfriend and co-worker, according to a spokeswoman for the Will County state’s attorney’s office.
Barry McCarthy of 11118 S. 84th Ave. was indicted by a Will County grand jury this week on charges of first-degree murder in the death of Juliet Chinn, 47. He allegedly beat, strangled and stabbed her May 18 in her condominium, police said.
Police arrested McCarthy July 17. He has been free on bail after posting 10 percent of a $1 million bond.

Chinn was a pharmacist at Oak Forest Hospital of Cook County for 17 years.
