Public hearings to discuss Kane County’s Fox River Bridge Study Environmental Impact statement will be held in July.

The draft report will be on display at public libraries and municipal centers beginning Friday. Residents can pay for a photocopy at Mailboxes, Etc., 2413 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin; Sir Speedy Printing Center, 220 Dean St., St. Charles; and Accu-Color Printing, 935 Oak St., North Aurora.

Hearings will be July 14 at Wredling School on Red Gate Road, west of Illinois Highway 31 in St. Charles; July 16 at Mooseheart fieldhouse, Mooseheart Road, west of Illinois 31; July 22 at Randall Oaks Golf Club, Binnie Road, west of Randall Road; and July 28 at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva. Hearings are from 2 to 9 p.m. Written comments may be sent to the Kane County Division of Transportation, 41W011 Burlington Rd., St. Charles, Ill. 60175.

Five proposed crossings are near Bolz Road in Carpentersville and Algonquin; Stearns Road near South Elgin; Red Gate Road near St. Charles and Wayne; Dean Street in St. Charles; and Illinois Highway 56 and Oak Street in North Aurora.
