Business owners and employees can learn how to minimize waste and cut costs at a free national seminar to be held June 17 via satellite downlink at Argonne National Laboratory near Lemont.
The forum will feature speakers from various industries discussing money-saving strategies and techniques that their companies have used. The hidden costs of waste often found in offices, shipping and receiving departments and purchasing divisions will be discussed.
The presentation will run from 10 a.m. until noon in the auditorium of Argonne’s Building 203. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Argonne’s main entrance is off of Cass Avenue just south of Interstate Highway 55.
