The first installment of Kane County’s real estate tax bills are due in the county treasurer’s office on Wednesday. Payments can be made at most Kane County banks, by mail or in person at treasurer’s office at 719 Batavia Ave., in Geneva, according to County Treasurer Gordon Volkman.

Any payment received after Wednesday will be returned for an interest penalty. The second installment will be due in September.
