Officials refused to release details of the proposed pact. But earlier, both sides said the district had offered a 5-year deal with yearly raises in the range of 4 percent.
The pay package is in line with a 5-year package approved for the district’s non-unionized classified workers last year.
At that time, the district also agreed to reopen a 7-year deal for its custodians union and give that group raises of 4 percent during the first 5 years followed by 2 years of raises tied to the rate of inflation.
Regular classroom teachers received a 5-year agreement last year that will pay average yearly raises of 5 percent.
