Mundelein 9, Stevenson 3: Meredith Farmer had two hits and three RBIs to pace Mundelein (16-4, 8-1) in the North Suburban game.

Zion-Benton 12, North Chicago 1: Stacy Aguon gave up one hit and struck out eight for the Zee-Bees (11-6, 6-4) in the North Suburban.

Niles West d. Waukegan 15-0, 15-6: Curt Heller’s six kills and Tylor Robinson’s five paced Niles West (15-14, 5-3) in the Central Suburban South sweep.

Schaumburg d. Addison Trail 15-8, 15-5: Eric Hauswirth and Brennan Pomroy each had eight kills for the Saxons (22-7).

Girls soccer

Crystal Lake South 4, Jacobs 3 (2 OT): The smallest player on the Gators’ roster, 5-foot-1-inch Lynn Peterson, scored the winning goal with 7 minutes 7 seconds left in the second sudden-death overtime. Angela Freund, Christine Reed and Meggan Goy scored in regulaton for South (14-4, 6-1 in the Fox Valley). Jenny Kwasegroch scored twice for Jacobs (15-3-1, 4-3).

Glenbrook South 10, Niles West 0: Meghan Fahey’s three goals and two apiece from Stacy Hall and Sara Johnson led Glenbrook South (10-5-3, 6-2) in the Central Suburban South rout.

Schurz 2, Roosevelt 1: Schurz (10-3, 10-3) prevailed in the Public White North as Maritza Boyas and Claudia Arzate scored.

Boys track and field

North Suburban Conference meet: Zion-Benton’s Quiande Moore set conference records in winning the high jump at 7-1, the triple jump at 49-8 and the long jump at 23-2. Moore’s finishes helped the Zee-Bees total 144 points for the championship. Libertyville was second with 117 points.
