Kenwood 15, Richards Academy 3: Savannah O’Hagin (5-0) allowed four hits and struck out 11, while SaToy Welch (3-4) batted in three runs as Kenwood improved to 7-0 in the Public South Central.

Lincoln-Way 3, Andrew 0: Lincoln-Way (10-9, 1-4) prevailed in the SICA West with a game-ending triple play after pitcher Sarah Wysocki walked the bases loaded. Third baseman Ashley Gibbons snared a line drive for the first out, stepped on third for the second and threw to Chris Myros at second base for the third.

Oak Lawn 8, Bolingbrook 6: In the ninth inning, Cheryl Banasiak walked and Natalie Mannerino doubled to score Banasiak, then Candice Kosty singled home Mannerino for Oak Lawn (13-14, 2-2) in the SICA North victory.

Providence 6, Joliet Catholic 1: Kelly Anast went 4 for 4 with three RBIs to lead Providence (12-5).

Sandburg 3, Mother McAuley 0: Sandburg (14-10-1) was led by Meghan Watson who struck out eight and allowed four hits.

St. Rita 7, Mt. Carmel 6: After being up 5-0, St. Rita (18-7, 11-3) squeaked past No. 8 Mt. Carmel with the help of Dan Fitzer, who broke a 6-6 tie and scored the winning run on a single from Keith Bernard in the Catholic League.

Bremen 6, Eisenhower 5: Josh O’Shea hit a grand slam and tallied four RBIs for Bremen (16-10, 5-3) in the SICA Central.

Homewood-Flossmoor 4, Shepard 2: Steve Brook (5-2) allowed three hits and struck out eight in the SICA East as the Vikings (16-7, 6-0) triumphed.

Reavis 19, Argo 2: Mike Henderson (3 for 4) hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs, giving him 35 for the year for Reavis (19-5, 4-0) in the SICA North.

Rich East 7, Kankakee 6: In the SICA South, Darrin Yarborough scored the winning run for Rich East (10-4, 3-0).

Seneca 8, Reed-Custer 2: Max Sulzberger (8-3) gave up only two hits and struck out seven for Seneca (17-5, 8-2) in the Interstate Eight.

Simeon 18-17, Englewood 2-2: In Game 1, Brian Cox (2-0) pitched a one-hitter with eight strike outs for Simeon (23-7, 10-0) in the Public League South. In the nightcap, Lawrence Collins (2-0) pitched a no-hitter with eight strike outs.

Thornton Fractional South 6, Oak Forest 1: Cliff Novak struck out 11 and gave up two hits for the Rebels (15-6, 7-2), while Mark Padjen singled twice for four RBIs.

Washington 8, Morgan Park 7: Carlos Contreras singled in the tying run in the sixth inning for Washington (11-9, 8-3), and relief pitcher Tim Roland (3 for 4) hit a two-run single in the same inning for the Public League South victory.
