In what has become an annual event, Lincoln-Way High School has been honored by an educational consulting firm.
For the seventh year in a row, Lincoln-Way has been named an award-winning school system by SchoolMatch, an Ohio-based firm that works with relocating parents to find good school systems for their children.
SchoolMatch studies the 15,620 U.S. school systems every year and publishes a list of those meeting the criteria identified by parents.

The criteria include solid academics and competitive test scores, a non-intimidating atmosphere, citations for excellence from outside agencies, competitive teacher salaries and small class sizes.
“It’s nice to be recognized from an independent firm that we are meeting the needs of students and parents,” said Lincoln-Way Supt. Lawrence Wyllie.
