A man who was about to be questioned by police in connection with a slaying was riding in a Chicago police squad car Friday night when he noticed a photograph pasted on the dashboard.

When police went to the home, in the 3100 block of East 80th Street, knocked on the door and identified themselves, the suspect jumped out a window and ran, said police spokesman Kevin Morison. Police chased him and arrested him.
The suspect, Anthony Boyd, 19, was charged with first-degree murder, police said.
Boyd was wanted in the Feb. 6 shooting death of Marcus Bolden, 26, of Country Club Hills.
In unrelated incidents, police were searching for suspects in three fatal shootings.
