Geneva’s Karen Bauer scored on a free kick with 32 minutes 13 seconds left in the second half, immediately giving the Vikings a boost.
“Once we got the goal, the kids had a lot of confidence they could play with Naperville,” Geneva coach Mike Nesci said. “We really dominated the second half. We took the game to them. We didn’t let them control the ball. This is a huge win for the girls program.”
Goalkeeper Jacquie Discipio had four saves for Geneva (2-1), including a deflection off a shot by Maggie Nowicki in the final 2 minutes to preserve the victory. The loss dropped Naperville to 1-1-1.
In other action, Jenna Stormo scored two goals as top-ranked St. Charles (3-0) defeated Schaumburg 3-0.
Sandburg 3, Andrew 0: Liz Coghill, Megan Castellarin and Nicole Frangella each scored, and Katy Boll stopped five shots as No. 5 Sandburg (7-0, 1-0) got the shutout in the SICA West.
New Trier 7, Niles West 0: In the Central Suburban South, No. 4 New Trier (2-1, 1-0) was led by Emily Brown’s two goals.
Benet 2, Hinsdale South 0: Julie Rath and Chris McCabe scored a goal apiece, and Aurine Wu made five saves for No. 10 Benet (3-0).
Downers Grove North 3, Mother McAuley 1: Katie Diebold scored twice and Jess Brooks also tallied for Downers (2-2).
Elk Grove 5, Maine West 2: Glory Taylor had three goals and Amy Herrick three assists for Elk Grove (3-1-1).
Fenwick 1, Morton 0: Jill Heikkila scored as Fenwick improved to 4-0.
Immaculate Heart of Mary 7, Nazareth 2: Theresa Wardell recorded her fourth hat trick of the season and Kristen Novak added four assists for IHM (6-1).
Lemont 11, Ridgewood 0: Neli Popovski had three goals and an assist to lead Lemont (2-1, 1-1) in the Suburban Prairie White.
Lockport 2, Stagg 1: Katie Koning had a goal and an assist and Ann Croswhurst tallied for Lockport (3-0, 1-0) in the SICA West. Stagg is 3-1-1, 0-1.
Loyola 2, Niles North 0: Nicole Wambay had both goals and Megan Elliot both assists as Loyola (5-1) prevailed.
Maine East 2, Leyden 1: Lalaine Tamayo and Allison Herbon each scored for the Blue Demons (1-1).
Wheaton Academy 3, Hinsdale Central 1: Wheaton Academy (3-0) trailed 1-0 at the half but rallied with three goals in the final 9 minutes for the victory. Rebecca Mouw, Abi Herman and Jennifer Clum scored for the Falcons.

Prospect d. Hoffman Estates 15-9, 15-13: No. 5 Prospect (9-0, 2-0) swept the Mid-Suburban South match with 15 kills by Chris Pontarelli and 10 kills and 31 assists by Kevin Hallen.
Naperville North d. Lake Park 15-12, 12-15, 15-8: Craig Mattison’s 20 kills and Paul Ott’s 51 assists sparked No. 10 Naperville North (2-1).
