Employees of three local businesses were cited for selling liquor to minors in a recent undercover sting, police said.
In the last two weeks police sent a 20-year-old Darien woman and a 19-year-old Darien man into businesses with liquor licenses to try to purchase alcohol.
Those cited were Rosemarie Charvet, an employee of Jewel Foods, 7335 Cass Ave.; Hoseph Chacko, an employee of Heritage Foods, 7515 Cass Ave.; and Feti Batoya, an employee of Ripples Restaurant, 8205 Cass Ave.
