Plan commissioners have recommended a proposed ordinance regulating wireless communication antennas.
The proposed ordinance, to go before the Village Board this month, specifies placement rules for the towers.
Free-standing towers would be allowed only in agricultural areas and some business areas. Elsewhere, towers would be limited to existing buildings’.
Commissioners also recommended the annexing and rezoning of land for two subdivisions, Palmer Ranch at Delaney and Nelson Roads and Green Valley, at 13260 Constitution Rd.
The developer of Palmer Ranch, a single-family homes subdivision, asked for R2A zoning, calling for a minimum lot size of 10,500 square feet.
The developer of Green Valley asked for R2A zoning for single-family homes and an R5 zoning for town homes.
