If you were dozing during driver’s ed, now’s your chance to catch the gore you missed: The Psychotronic Film Society will present “Awesome Wheels of Terror!”, an evening of car safety scare films playing 8 p.m. Monday at The Liar’s Club, 1665 W. Fullerton Ave. It may not be Spielberg, but Psychotronic promises a bill that includes “Mechanized Death,” “School Bus Fires” and “Booby Traps,” among other genre classics. Need more enticement? “These gore films often caused fainting and instant hurling,” says the promo literature. Admission is free, and there will be no test given afterward.
