The National Multiple Sclerosis Society for northern Illinois is seeking volunteers to help plan the 10th annual MS WALK.
The walk is scheduled for April 19, with 11 routes planned throughout the Chicago area. Depending on the area, the routes range from six to 11 miles.
The 8-mile-long North Shore route, to begin in Highland Park, needs volunteers to assist the planning committee with the details of the local walk.
Organizers said this year’s goal is to raise $1.5 million.
