Over the last several months, participants in workshops at the Logan Square Children’s Art Class, at Gallery 37 and at the Department of Children and Family Services worked together to hammer out a performance featuring puppets, mask theater and live music. The fruits of all that hard work will be seen starting Friday, when the “Winter Pageant,” sponsored by Redmoon Theater, kicks off at the Logan Square Auditorium, 2539 N. Kedzie Ave. Professional performers, college students, children and local residents will act out the story of the passage from the cold darkness of winter to the energizing warmth of spring. Shows will be held through Sunday at various times. Call 773-388-9031.
