Maine West tournament: Fifth-ranked Maine West (9-0) downed Maria 65-32 behind Julie Just’s 22 points and Caroline Mankiewicz’s 13. The Warriors won the round robin at 5-0. Maria (5-1) finished 4-1 in the tourney.

Michelle Shaughnessy, who scored 20 points, hit the game-winning turnaround jumper with 7 seconds left to lift St. Ignatius (4-2) over Stevenson 50-48. Tiffany DeClark scored 13 to lead Stevenson (2-4).

Hersey (5-4) scored the game’s first 25 points and rolled over Young 73-34. Jenny Dohnal hit five of her tournament-record seven three-pointers in the first quarter and finished with a game-high 21 points. Shayna Williams had 16 for Young (0-5).

Amy Dowiarz (12 points) and Laura Powell (10) paced York (4-2) in its 66-42 victory over Washington. Trecinta Anderson scored 17 for Washington (1-4).

Naperville Central 57, Waubonsie Valley 49: Michelle Olson led a fourth-quarter run for Naperville with nine points, including two three-pointers, as the Redhawks (4-4) knocked off No. 13 Waubonsie Valley (6-3). Olson hit five threes in all and finished 22 points. Waubonsie Valley’s Ashley Luke scored 15 points, but only two in the second half. Rebecca Traen added 12 points and hit two three-pointers for Naperville Central, which hit eight three-pointers.

Lake Zurich 85, Jacobs 26: Alicia Ratay’s 25 points led four players in double figures as the ninth-ranked Bears (8-1, 4-0 Fox Valley) rolled.

Maine South 59, Deerfield 17: The 10th-ranked Hawks (7-1, 1-0) cruised in the Central Suburban North behind Denise Pavichevich’s 16 points.

Buffalo Grove 61, Niles North 34: Christy Compobasso (15 points) led the 14th-ranked Bison (7-1) past Niles North (3-4).

Resurrection 63, Morgan Park 51: Resurrection (5-3) knocked off No. 17 Morgan Park (5-2) behind Andrea Mendyk’s 15 points. Constance Jinks had 19 points in defeat.

Chicago Latin 44, Elgin Academy 17: Alison David’s 13 points helped Latin (7-1, 4-0) cruise in the Independent School League.

Hinsdale South 77, Morton 48: Corinne Pahr had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead South (5-1, 2-0) in the West Suburban Gold. Morton fell to 2-4, 0-1.

Illiana Christian 44, Timothy Christian 33: Illiana (6-1, 2-0), led by Caryn Boer’s 17 points and nine rebounds, outscored Timothy 15-8 in the fourth quarter to take control. Kellie Carwell had 12 points for Timothy (2-4, 0-2 Private School League).

Lake Forest 47, Libertyville 45: Janie Hodgkinson had 19 points to help Lake Forest (6-1, 1-0) to the North Suburban victory. Tricia Thomas had 11 points for Libertyville (4-4, 0-1).

Luther South 52, Luther North 51 (OT): Janet Henry had 21 points for Luther South (6-1, 1-1) in the Private School League.

Nazareth 39, Chicago Christian 35: Danielle Moles’ 18 points sparked Nazareth (7-0, 2-0) in the Private School League.

Trinity 57, Good Counsel 39: Led by Kim Barber (16 points, 14 rebounds) and Tameyia Johnson (16 points, 11 rebounds), Trinity (4-4, 2-1 GCAC White) rolled.
