Hanson
Snowed In (Mercury) (star) (star) 1/2
Teen sensations Isaac, Taylor and Zachary Hanson waste no time capitalizing on the momentum of their breakthrough hit “MMMBop,” rushing out a record that’s equal parts commercial calculation and irresistible cuteness. Hanson’s crisp, bouncy electro-pop remains undeniable ear candy, although the arrangements are even more hyperactive here than on their debut, and the boys’ voices break more easily than Christmas ornaments.
