Wheaton-Warrenville South tournament: Behind Charliss Ridley’s 21 points, No. 7 Wheaton-Warrenville South (2-0) rolled over Thornton 74-44.
Andrew tournament: Joy Rauch’s 16 points led Rich Central (3-0) in its 49-47 triumph over the host Thunderbolts (0-1).
Cary-Grove 51, Woodstock 40: Liz Malmen had 15 points and Karen Liss 14 for the Trojans (3-0, 2-0 Fox Valley).
Crystal Lake Central 30, Crystal Lake South 22: Tammy Springer scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds to pace Central (1-1, 1-1) in the Fox Valley.
Fenger 60, Gary Horace Mann 32: The Titans improved to 2-1 behind 24 points from Raven Cresswell and 17 from Lillie Campbell.
Francis Parker 42, Woodlands 27: Francis Parker’s Lizzy Kaplan had 21 points in the Independent School League game.

Lyons Township tournament: Jamie Barnish had 14 points and 15 rebounds and Katie Maley added 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals as the host Lions opened their season with a 51-33 victory over Downers Grove South (1-1). Alison Clark added 10 points for the victors. Tess Cochran led Downers with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Lyons finished with a 47-24 rebounding edge.
Senior Megan Bramlette (eight rebounds) scored a game-high 18 points, including 14 in the second half, and junior Darice Irons had 10 points and 14 rebounds as Homewood-Flossmoor (1-1) jumped to a 20-9 lead en route to a 51-40 victory over Prospect. Prospect (0-2) turned the ball over 17 times in the first half to aid the H-F effort. Christina Valente had eight of her 14 points in the first half for the Vikings. Niles West 67, Mather 24: Dominika Wawrzyniak scored 13 points and Jamie Hayden added 10 points, four assists and four steals to spark Niles West (2-0).
