A massage parlor in a strip mall in an unincorporated area near Wheaton apparently is out of business again.
Brianna’s, 26 W 227 Geneva Rd., has been ordered by a DuPage County judge to vacate for not paying rent, according to Milton Township Supervisor Henry Kruse Jr., a longtime foe of massage parlors.
Earlier this year, Brianna’s was the focus of an effort by Milton Township authorities and DuPage County officials to regulate such businesses through zoning laws and police background checks. The massage parlor was shut down briefly in late summer because of an unpaid utility bill but soon was back in business.
An attempt to reach Brianna’s by telephone Wednesday was unsuccessful; the number was disconnected.
“With the closing of Brianna’s, our neighborhood is once again a family-friendly neighborhood in which to raise our children,” Kruse said.
