Their couch is back home in Minneapolis, but the funk-fortified Greazy Meal has launched into a long Thursday-night stint at the Double Door anyway. Known for drawing up to 1,200 fans every week in their hometown, the eight members of Greazy Meal are serious players, some of whom earned their stripes playing with Prince. And the couch? That was for patrons who wanted to sit on stage and really feel the funk. Too bad the Double Door stage is too small for the band and its davenport. Greazy Meal will be at the Double Door, 1572 N.
