Eisenhower: Fifth-ranked Mother McAuley (30-8) rolled to a 15-2, 15-0 victory over Eisenhower behind six kills from Heather Thomas and 10 assists from Angie LaPorte.

Oak Lawn: No. 6 Queen of Peace downed Richards 15-1, 15-11 for its 30th victory and the regional title. Angie Banys had 10 kills and Kristen Daly added eight kills and five aces to lead the Packers (30-6).

Maria: Maria (6-29) defeated Argo 13-15, 15-8, 15-7 as Angela LoVerde and Caitlin McCarthy led the way with 10 kills apiece. Patricia LoVerde chipped in with 15 digs and 26 assists for the Mystics.

Rich South: Brandi Petelle had seven kills and Amanda Brooks had 18 assists as Bradley-Bourbonnais (25-6) defeated Rich South 15-4, 15-8. Rich South finished 21-15.

St. Ignatius: The host Wolfpack (21-14) advanced with a 15-10, 15-9 victory over Oak Park (15-19). Lauren Luzzi served the Wolves back into Game 1 after falling behind 10-8 and Annie Cella had eight kills for the match.

Thornton Fractional North: Thornwood (25-9-1) swept Thornton Fractional South 15-2, 15-3 behind Julie Hoffmann’s eight kills and Mandy Hobbs’ seven kills.

Class A volleyball regionals

Illiana Christian: Chrissy Schurla had 16 kills, Michelle Aducci seven kills and Kate Meehan 11 digs as Evergreen Park (23-8) defeated Illiana Christian 11-15, 15-8, 15-8.

Class AA soccer sectionals

Willowbrook: Second-ranked Wheaton North (20-1-1) edged Glenbard West 1-0 in overtime with Dan Cybul’s goal. Chris Poole had five saves for his 10th shutout.

Batavia: Justin Labelle, David Lara, Gerard Oconer and Chris Zimmer scored for No. 5 Benet (16-2-3) in its 4-2 victory over Wheaton Academy. Benet will meet No. 7 Geneva Saturday in the final.

Mundelein: T.J. Newberg scored twice on assists from James Waters as No. 10 Libertyville (14-2-3) ousted Buffalo Grove 3-1. Buffalo Grove finished 12-10-2.

Eisenhower: Matt Meyer’s two goals lifted Marist to a 3-1 upset of No. 1 seeded Eisenhower. Steve Jados made six saves for the RedHawks (10-6-1). . . . Led by Tobias Hernandez, who had a goal and an assist, Thornwood (15-4) knocked off Thornton 4-0.

Class A soccer sectionals

Rich South: Ryan Seeden scored the game-winner in the closing minutes of the second overtime as Lemont (9-7-2) edged Illiana Christian 2-1. Brian Ludwig scored the Injuns’ first goal. . . . First-half goals by Tom Thies and Greg Ruseff gave Providence (15-5-3) a 2-0 shutout of Crete-Monee (8-10).

Minooka: Kenny Mack’s goal midway through the first half and a 22-save performance by Mike Noffsinger gave Coal City (17-5-1) the 1-0 shutout over Streator (13-5-1). Coal City advances to play Manteno, which dispatched Minooka 1-0, Saturday.
