A Prospect Heights man was ordered held on a $10,000 bond Thursday in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a 6-year-old girl, authorities said.
Aristides Simon, 28, of 810 Piper Lane, was charged Wednesday night with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, said Prospect Heights Detective John Yanke.
The girl’s family contacted police after the victim told them she had been fondled Oct. 4, authorities said.
