Bremen 55, Rich Central 6: Jesse Isom tossed four touchdown passes and ran 43 yards for another score as Bremen (9-0) routed Rich Central in the SICA Green. DeShannon Foster added three TDs, including an 82-yard reception, and Kevin Curtis two for the Braves. Rich Central’s John Stewart rushed for 142 yards and one touchdown, bringing his season total to 1,813 yards.
Marian Catholic 41, St. Joseph 0: Marian Catholic (7-2) earned a trip to the state playoffs with the victory. Terrence Pirtle (14 carries, 137 yards) led the way with three first-quarter TDs. Horace Flournoy rushed seven times for 109 yards and a TD for the victors.
Rich East 13, Thornton Fractional South 0: John White returned the opening kickoff 85 yards and later scored on a 5-yard run as Rich East (8-1, 6-1) prevailed in the SICA Orange. T.F. South dropped to 4-5, 3-4.
Romeoville 20, Homewood-Flossmoor 16: Romeoville (5-4, 4-3) led 20-7 at the half and held off H-F (6-3, 5-2). Aaron Vogel led the Spartans, throwing a TD pass to Roman Natoli and scoring on 36- and 83-yard runs.
Lemont 41, Sycamore 24: Mark Kelso rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns and Jeff Ratkovich also ran for two and threw for one more as Lemont (4-5, 3-2) rolled in the Suburban Prairie White.
Evergreen Park 25, Herscher 14: Bob Rovy scored on runs of 1 and 38 yards and Pat McKeown on runs of 1 and 2 yards as the Mustangs held off Herscher in the Suburban Prairie Blue.
Argo 49, Kankakee 20: Greg Lathan rushed 15 times for 173 yards and scored four times (runs of 8, 8, 13 and 59 yards) as Argo (4-5, 2-5) took a 35-0 first-half lead in the SICA Orange.
