Illinois Comptroller Loleta Didrickson will be honored at a Nov. 5 fundraising reception at the Oscar Swan Inn, 1800 W. State St.
Didrickson, who won her first bid for statewide office in 1994, is expected to announce her candidacy for the Republican nomination for Illinois secretary of state the following day.
Tickets are $75 per person for the reception which begins at 5 p.m.
