Hinsdale celebs: Stephen Clark, owner of Soukup True Value Hardware in Hinsdale, is toting up more than 15 minutes of fame. Tapped by the Midwest Bank for a testimonial ad, he was featured on eight cable channels late last spring; the 30-second spots are airing again on ESPN and TNT during NFL games.
Clark says he can hardly turn around without someone saying, “Hey, I saw you on TV!”
But he’s not the only celeb in town.
Nancy Whitehurst, manager of Baird & Warner’s Hinsdale office, has been shown on her company’s Sunday morning show on CLTV cable since June 1996.
