Gregg’s Landing, the new golf course community in north suburban Vernon Hills, finally is teeing off with a variety of model homes.
The Parade of Homes, a showcase of seven custom designs priced from $669,000 to $1.2 million, is being staged through Nov. 9 in the Pebble Beach neighborhood of the 1,100-acre development being built at the former Cuneo estate.
Rembrandt Homes, one of 11 builders active at Gregg’s Landing, has opened two decorated models in the St. Andrews neighborhood, where homes range from $305,990 to $450,000.
The 2,868-square-foot Gleneagle and the 3,151-square-foot Stirling overlook the fourth green, set on an island, on the 220-acre White Deer Run golf course designed by Dick Nugent of Long Grove. Recently seeded, the public course will be ready for play next summer.
Base-priced from $334,900, the Gleneagle has four bedrooms, including a first-floor master suite, and a two-story family room with a fireplace and television niche.
The Stirling features a traditional design with a wraparound porch. The four-bedroom residence is priced from $330,900. Both models will be open during the same hours as the Parade of Homes.
Rembrandt, the custom division of Sundance Homes, has 112 lots at St. Andrews. About 30 percent of the homes will have views of either the fourth, fifth or sixth holes. Half of the residences will have walkout or English basements.
Seven floor plans are offered, but Rembrandt will modify any of them to fit the buyer’s needs.
The entrance to Gregg’s Landing is on Butterfield Road, 1 1/2 miles north of Illinois Highway 60.
