Lincoln-Way students’ Scholastic Aptitude Test averages of 613 in the verbal and 624 in the mathematical sections were the highest posted in five years, Wyllie said, and exceeded national averages of 505 and 511 and Illinois averages of 562 and 578.
In the American College Testing composite scores, Lincoln-Way students enrolled in the core academic curriculum averaged a 23.6 score, and all students taking the test averaged 22.8, above the national average of 21.0 and the Illinois average of 21.2.
