Romeoville trustees Wednesday night approved plans for new areas in two subdivisions, the Weslake on Taylor Road and a resubdivision in the Cambridge at Carillon development.
A vote on three planned businesses for the Windhams Lake Business Park was delayed because the documentation was late in reaching village officials, Village Manager James Smithberg said.
Village officials said last week that they were pleased at the balance between residential and business development in Romeoville.
The three businesses planned for the Windham Lakes Business Park are similar enterprises, calling for office, warehouse and distribution space, but village officials say there are a variety of firms in the park.
Cintas Corp.is a uniform company. Chapco Adhesives will distribute epoxies, resins and adhesives. The third business is a 135,000-square-foot site expected to house four or five businesses.
The Windham Lakes Business Park at Weber Road and Interstate Highway 355 also houses a roofers’ training center, restaurants and a medical center, as well as firms specializing in lighting design, electrical engineering and pipe repair.
