Stevenson 41, North Chicago 6: No. 11 Stevenson (5-0, 3-0 North Suburban) geared up for its meeting with undefeated Libertyville next week with a rout of North Chicago (0-5, 0-3). John Dervishian rushed for 83 yards and caught two touchdown passes from QB Curtis Zervic (4 for 7, 120 yards), who also ran for two scores. North Chicago, which only has 23 players on its roster, got on the board with a 23-yard pass from Chris Brackens to Brandon Evans.
Conant 21, Hoffman Estates 8: Russ Michna (6 for 12, 162 yards) completed a 41-yard touchdown pass to Tony Pertrone and 74-yard touchdown pass to Brian Albert to spark the Cougars (3-2, 1-0) in the Mid-Suburban South victory. Michna also added a 20-yard touchdown run late in the game.
Dundee-Crown 24, Lake Zurich 20: The Chargers (3-2, 3-2) edged Lake Zurich (2-3, 2-3) in the Fox Valley behind Dwayne Williams’ two touchdown runs (3 and 37 yards).
Fenwick 49, St. Viator 20: Marty Sloan rushed for 118 yards on just five carries and scored on runs of 35 and 45 yards to lead Fenwick (3-2, 1-1) past St. Viator (1-4, 1-2) in a Catholic League crossover. Anthony Binion added two TDs for the Friars, while Brandon Latta recovered a blocked kick and ran 3 yards for the score for St. Viator.
New Trier 29, Niles West 7: Mark Tapley threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns and Andy Deahl had eight catches for 148 yards to lead the Trevians (3-2, 1-0) in their Central Suburban South opener. Niles West fell to 2-3, 0-1.

Oak Lawn 42, Argo 30: Tacho Gamino completed 7 of 11 passes for 220 yards and two TDs, including a 70-yarder to Aaron Altenburg (five catches, 210 yards), to lead Oak Lawn (4-1, 3-0) in the SICA Orange. Nick Jelcic (13 carries) rushed for 103 yards and two TDs for Oak Lawn, while Greg Lathan (189 rushing yards) led Argo (2-3, 0-3) with three touchdowns.
Prospect 27, Elk Grove 13: Bob Volz (11 for 21, 287 yards) threw a pair of touchdown passes to Dave Gowing and another to Kevin Koeneman as the Knights go to 2-3, 1-0 in the MSL South.
Warren 7, Antioch 6: Warren (2-3, 2-1) blocked a 31-yard field goal with 19 seconds left to seal the North Suburban victory. Andy White’s 45-yard interception return accounted for the Blue Devils only TD. Brandon Polheber had a 3-yard run for Antioch (2-3, 0-3).
Waukegan 20, Glenbrook South 18: Behind the running of QB Jermaine Lewis (11 carries, 125 yards) and RB Keenan Wells (22 carries, 207 yards, three TDs), the Bulldogs (3-2, 1-0 Central Suburban South) won their third game in a row. Wells’ 9-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter followed by Shanari Allen’s two-point conversion gave Waukegan a 20-12 lead. Glenbrook South had a chance to tie it late in the fourth but Waukegan stuffed the Titans’ two-point conversion attempt.
