Nearing completion are seven show homes that will be open to the public during the 1997 Parade of Homes at Gregg’s Landing in north suburban Vernon Hills.
The event, sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, will be held from Oct. 18 to Nov. 9.
The custom models range in price from $650,000 to $1 million-plus, and are being built in the Pebble Beach neighborhood of Gregg’s Landing, a new 1,100-acre golf course community developed by Zale Development.
Participating in the Parade are Girmscheid Builders (two homes), A. Ferris & Co., Bulear Builders, Comino Homes, Millennium Homes and Samuels Homes.
Already sold are the Bulear model and one of the Girmscheid designs.
The entrance to the show will be on the east side of Butterfield Road, 1 1/2 miles north of of Illinois Highway 60.
