Incumbents Pamela Rion (R-Bloomingdale) and Roger Kotecki (R-Glen Ellyn) are the latest DuPage County Board members to announce they will seek re-election next year.

Both represent District 6, which includes Winfield and Wayne Townships and parts of Bloomingdale Township.

Kotecki, a lawyer and a resident of unincorporated DuPage, has been a County Board member since 1990. He had been an advocate of the Sheriff’s Work Alternative Program, which allows judges to sentence some non-violent criminals to work details rather than to jail.

Rion, a former Bloomingdale village trustee, is completing her first term. She is the chairwoman of the board’s County Development Committee. She also sits on DuPage’s Regional Plan Commission.
