A Geneva woman is among three Illinois Republican women to be honored for their dedication to the GOP at the Illinois Lincoln Series Excellence Awards dinner Friday.
Terry DesCoteaux will receive the Harold B. Smith award for extraordinary volunteerism to the Republican Party and its candidates.
Among the other honorees are Frances Brent Killey of Monmouth, who will receive the Hope B. McCormick award for unselfish leadership to her community, the arts and humanities and the Republican Party; and Jackie Bacon of Charleston, who will receive the Phoebe H. Dutcher award for leadership and achievement as an elected official.
