Authorities have identified a man killed in a fiery auto accident early Labor Day morning in unincorporated Antioch.
Eric Miller, 38, of Palatine, suffered severe burns in the accident and was identified using dental records, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.
Miller was killed when his car ran off the road and struck a propane tank attached to a house at 19478 Illinois Highway 173. The crash ignited a fire that engulfed Miller’s 1992 Dodge Ram pickup truck and the house. No one was in the house.
An autopsy revealed Miller had heart problems. Investigators were trying to determine if he had a heart attack prior to the crash.
