Instantly identifiable by his singular voice and distinguished by his sharp eye for radio-ready material, Anderson offers another highly listenable collection of neo-traditional ditties, which range from the frisky “Somebody Slap Me” to the gentle “Small Town” and assertive title song. Anderson’s distinctive style should continue to set him apart from bright up-and-comers.
