Planning and zoning commission members have scheduled a meeting to hear public comment on a developer’s request for smaller lot sizes in a proposed subdivision.
The public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Village Hall.
The proposed subdivision would be built near the intersection of Steger Road and Kinney Avenue, near the geographic center of the village.
The developer seeks a zoning variance that would allow lot sizes to be 8,000 square feet–20 percent less than the 10,000-square-foot lots the zoning requires.
