An 18-year-old Addison man died after his Jeep flipped several times on Interstate Highway 290, police said Sunday.

Ryan Wilson of 41 W 391 Forest Lane Rd. was driving east on I-290 near Mill Road about 4:30 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of his car, said the Illinois State Police.

Police said witnesses told them Wilson was traveling at a high speed and making quick lane changes when his Jeep flipped.

Wilson, who suffered head injuries, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. He was pronounced dead at 11 p.m. Saturday.

A passenger in the Jeep, 23-year-old Robert Wehrle of South Elgin, suffered a broken nose and cuts on his face. Wehrle was treated at the hospital and released.
