Travon Davis could have left Thursday for Los Angeles to play with the Rex Walters All-Stars. Instead, he stayed with his Nazareth team to participate in the Morris Shootout, scoring 14 points in a loss to Normal.
It was an easy decision to make, said Davis, who will leave Monday to play with the All-Stars on a two-week trip.
“Without my teammates, there wouldn’t be anyone talking about Travon Davis,” said Davis, who averaged 24 points and nine rebounds as a junior. “This summer was dedicated to improving my game and working to get our team stronger for next season.”
